What is a good trolling rod/reel for a beginner?

philtheskipper	I need to buy 4 rods/reels for trolling Lake Erie for walleye. I'm new to this so I don't have a clue as to what to get. I want a line counter on the reel. Will be using Dipsey Divers. Don't want the cheapest but don't want to empty my wallet either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! ------------------ Phil	2001-08-06

SeaRay245	good setup for beginners is the diawa combe lc47 reel and rod has a line counter and all I got mine for 75 bucks apiece new and have used them for 3 years now with no problems...remember to reline your reel each year a missed fish due to bad line is your own mistake	2001-11-06
