Fish finders

scottb Well I have moved out of the canoe and to a boat. The boat just isn't enough. I want all the toys. I'm looking at purchasing a fish finder and I would appreciate any advice recommendations you have. The boats 17' aluminum. thanks 2002-07-16
cclemon Scott,

I have a Humminbird. My boat has a Force engine with an unregulated alternator. The Humminbird works fine as long as the engine is off, but when it is running the Humminbird freaks completely. I am not the only one to experience this. Please don't get me wrong the Humminbird worked great with my Suzuki engine. It just wouldn't be my first choice. I have heard that Lawrence or Eagle may be a better choice.
